Specific Programs and Services

All of our services and programs provided by FCS are geared towards reducing symptoms, improving the quality of the client's life, and improving their everyday functioning level in order to help facilitate their integration into the community. Our general programs and services are listed above. Below is a list of our specific programs, focused on more specific types of treatment.

Assessment Services

FCS also provides assessments for the Intensive Intervention Team. These assessments enable the Office of Family & Children (Welfare Department) to have immediate services provided for a family who needs help.

We provide extensive assessments for the Office of Family & Children for cases that have been in their system for a significant period of time and they (OFC) need additional recommendations or information to help them assist their clients more effectively. This is a IV-B funded program, but we offer these services to others upon request.

We have been providing this service to Wells County Probation and Wells County Office of Family & Children since summer of 2003. We provide this service in the home of the person served or another agreed upon location. Currently, other counties are investigating this process to determine if this would be a valuable service to their county, as well.

All three of these assessments are referral source generated and paid for in their entirety by the referral source.

Treatment Modalities and Services

Our current services include:
      • individual outpatient treatment;
      • couple outpatient treatment;
      • family outpatient treatment;
      • group outpatient treatment;
        (for both behavioral health and/or drug or alcohol related problems).

Individual and family therapy can also take place in our play therapy rooms. This process is very effective with younger children and even some adults that need a specialized intervention to assist them in improving the quality of their lives.
