You can help us to help others by making a tax-deductible donation to Family & Children’s Services, Inc. This will enable us to continue our mission and ensure that people who need our services and are unable to pay for them will receive the care and treatment they so desperately need.
As you may be aware, Family & Children’s Services is a 501(c)(3) charity, and we base client co-pays on family size and income. Routinely, our lowest fee per hour is about $15.00. Many of our consumers have difficulty in making even a token payment; but due to the help of the United Way of Allen County, grants, and people like you, we can make a difference.
So many places are able to say that a certain amount of money will help them clothe a child, feed them a meal or even put a roof over their heads. What we provide is also very important but hard to see. We can teach a child that:

they are valued; - they can be happy;
- they do not need to fear adults;
- they can have healthy relationships;
- and they do not deserve to be hurt by grownups.
We can help people to:
- improve their relationships with others;
- process grief and loss;
- improve their quality of life;
- make changes, if needed;
- and quit using drugs and alcohol.
These folks need your help; and your donation, big or small, will help to help them.
We know that due to unmet mental health needs, people lose their jobs, become homeless, behave violently towards others, and consume drugs and alcohol.
We can help to reverse these practices.
